The Gold Coast Pistol Club is a MEMBERS ONLY competition shooting club. GCPC is one of the few clubs that is wheelchair friendly!

To join the Goldcoast Pistol Club (GCPC) you will be required to complete an ‘Expression of Interest’ (EOI) form here ONLINE.
You will also be required to download and complete certain additional forms which you can then print off or scan (see below) and email to the club or hand in at the office.
You will need to pay a $100 one-time joining set-up fee online which is non-refundable and which is deducted from the full subscription fee in the first year.
There are additional steps that need to be taken to complete your application and become a full member.
Some of these steps require you to attend the club in person.
When you have completed the EOI form by clicking on the ‘APPLY HERE TO JOIN THE CLUB BUTTON’ below, You will receive an invoice by email for the $100 with a link to pay online.
You will have 3 hours to pay the invoice otherwise your record will be deleted and you will have to reapply.
We recommend you attend the club as soon as possible after applying.
NOTE: If you are APPLYING via this process at the club, full payment of fees will be taken based on the appropriate category of membership. Required Forms are available at the club.
- Two character references are required, and they cannot be family members or live at the same address as you. download HERE Please complete, scan, and email to: memberships@goldcoastpistolclub.com.au
- If you do not hold a Category H firearms license, a Form 33 must be completed and returned to the club. The form can be download HERE. Please print, complete and bring to the club as we will need to sign off on the form as well.
- If you do not hold a current firearms license you must complete a QPS form 515 and hand it in at your local police station.
You can download HERE. Complete and print. The Queensland police will then send you a form 36 (STATEMENT OF ELIGIBILITY) which you bring to the club and will be kept on record. You should always retain a copy.
- You will have to come to the club, pay the remainder of the membership fee, and have your photo taken for our records. At that time, you will receive club access cards and other items associated with your membership. When you come to the club, bring identification with you ( eg. Driver’s license, passport, existing firearms license(s) etc.) as these will be photocopied and kept on file.

PLEASE NOTE: Expression of Interest to join the club creates a probationary membership group until all required documents are delivered to the club. This may take a few weeks. Once we have received all required documents your application will be reviewed at a committee meeting and from that date you will become a FULL MEMBER. You will be contacted by our team after completing your Application to Join the Club.
