ONLINE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST INSTRUCTIONS
GOLD COAST PISTOL CLUB
The Gold Coast Pistol Club is a members-only competition shooting club. GCPC is one of the few clubs that is wheelchair friendly and one of the largest in Australia.
APPLY NOW TO JOIN THE CLUB
To join the Gold Coast Pistol Club (GCPC) using this online facility, you must complete an ‘Expression of Interest’ (EOI) form here online.
You will need to pay a one-time $100 joining setup fee, which is nonrefundable, and is deducted from the full subscription fee in the first year.
Additional steps will need to be taken to complete your application and become a full member. Some of these steps require you to attend the club in person.
When you have completed the online EOI form by clicking on the APPLY HERE TO JOIN THE CLUB button below, you will receive an invoice by email for the $100 with a link to pay online. YOU WILL HAVE THREE HOURS to pay the invoice otherwise, your record will be deleted, and you will have to reapply.
We recommend you attend the club as soon as possible after applying.
NOTE: This process is only valid for joining online here on the website. If you pay at the club, the full amount will need to be paid.
You will also be required to download and complete certain additional forms, which you can print off or scan (see below) and email to the club or hand in at reception.
You will need TWO character reference forms completed, and they cannot be family members or live at the same address as you. DOWNLOAD HERE. Print and bring to the office.
If you do not hold a CATEGORY H firearms license, a FORM 33 must be completed and returned to the club. DOWNLOAD HERE. Please print and complete, and we will need to sign off on the form as well.
If you do not hold a current firearms license, you must complete a QPS form 515 and hand it in to your local police station. You can DOWNLOAD HERE, complete and print. The Queensland Police will then send you a FORM 36 (STATEMENT OF ELIGIBILITY), which you bring into the club to be kept on record. You should always keep a copy as well.
You will need to come into the club to pay the remainder of the membership fee and have your photo taken for our records. At that time, you will receive a club ACCESS CARD and other items for your membership. When you come into the club, bring identification with you (eg. Driver’s license, Passport, Existing firearms license, School card etc.) These will be photocopied and kept on file for our records.
